There are three main types of garage doors, each with pros, cons and restrictions.

Types of garage doors
Sectional Garage Doors
Sectional doors are the most common type of garage door installed. They have a wide range of styles and colours and are generally the most cost effective option.
Roller Garage Doors
Roller doors offer a cost effective option for manual doors or taller doors. They have a limited range of styles.
They are also a good options where you want to keep the ceiling space clear.
Tilt garage doors
Tilt doors are a fairly obsolete design. Sectional doors have replaced them as the standard and have fixed a lot of the issues that tilt doors had with safety and design. Because of this there are few companies that still make tilt doors.
We no longer make Colorsteel tilt doors but still occasionally make Cedar tilt doors in exceptional circumstances.
